Being a stay at home mom I am always trying to find exciting adventures for my little family on a budget. In my search for the perfect Staycation ideas for February vacation week I stumbled upon a pot of gold with Double Tree Hilton of Nashua. Little did I know, but they offer an incredible Staycation package during February/April vacations, so of course I had to book a room and see what it was all about! I then packed a small overnight bag for everyone, loaded 5 humans in my mini van, drove 15 minutes south, where we then made memories that will last a lifetime.

1) Access to a beautiful heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and full fitness center.
Having been cooped up all winter a huge draw for our family was the beautiful heated indoor swimming pool and hot tub. My kids swam and swam for hours we went up and down from our room to the pool at least 5 times during our stay. While we hung out in the hot tub, the kids practiced their cannon balls. It was truly win win. My husband and I even took turns each day jumping into the fitness center while the kids swam. They had a full cardio room, a separate room for weights, and a third for floor work. It was large and meticulously maintained.

2) Family Movie Night in the Auditorium.
Upon check in we received "movie passes" to their beautiful on sight auditorium where they play family movies at 2:00pm and 6:00pm on the big screen every evening during school vacations. With popcorn and glee my kids absolutely loved the movie night after a long day of swimming.

3) FOOD FOOD FOOD
If you book a family staycation with DoubleTree Hilton they give you a 25% off coupon for delicious dinner at their onsite restaurant Speakers Corner. We dinned on a delicious tower of nachos, steak tacos, BLT's, clam chowder and the kiddos were pleased with personal pizzas! We loved everything we ordered!
Also as part of your stay, which was a surprise to us, in the evening they deliver directly to your room a tray of fresh chocolate chip cookies and milk! Our kids felt like absolute royalty when an unplanned dessert was delivered directly to our door.
Lastly, which my son quoted was the number one best thing about our stay was the complimentary expansive breakfast buffet for the whole family! Complete with waffle maker, eggs, bacon, home fries, hash, yogurt, fruit, cereal and on and on. It is by far one of the best breakfast buffets I have had.
If all that isn't enough they have a store right in the lobby with snacks, fresh sandwiches, fruit and so much more.

4) Comfort and Cleanliness
We found our room to be spotless, have modern decor, the beds were large and comfortable, and lastly had full access to room service day and night.
