1.Lets Get Sledding
Sledding is a great way to get a few hours out of the house and is great exercise and fun for your littles. Here are some tried and true local spots you might enjoy.
Ann DeNicola Memorial Playground - Bedford
Next to the Bedford Memorial Town Pool on County Road. This great, small hill makes for lots of runs and an easy walk back up.
Benedictine Park - Amherst
Sledding hill at Benedictine Park, which is off of Rte. 101. To get there turn off of Rte. 101 onto Wallace Rd. so that the Harvest Market Supermarket is on your right. The park is located just about 1/4 mile up Wallace Rd.
Bragdon Farm - Amherst
A big run with steep and not-so-steep sections at former ski area on Rte. 101 in Amherst. It’s right beside LaBelle Winery.
Derryfield Country Club - Manchester
Off Mammoth Road in Manchester.
Mack's Apple -Londonderry
Nashua High School North - Nashua
This sledding hill is located on Titan Way (formerly Chuck Druding Drive).
Roby Park - Nashua
126 Spit Brook Road Nashua, NH
Roby Park not only has an incredibly large sledding hill area, they also have an ice rink open to the public. In the summer enjoy their large fenced in playground, and tennis courts.
Weston Park - Merrimack
49 Turkey Hill Road Merrimack, NH
Weston Park has a great sledding hill, with safety barrier at the bottom. This hill is smaller, but still very fun for kids of any age.
Wasserman Park - Merrimack
Next to the playground in Wasserman Park off of Naticook Road there is a wide hill great for sledding. Short but but a perfect place for sledding with plenty of parking available.

2. Head Out for a Kid Friendly Hike
Andres Institute of Art - Brookline
98 Rt 13 Brookline, NH
Andres Institute of Art is an adorable family friendly hike that even my 3 year old could hike the whole time independently. The trails are lined with sculptures that act as treasures your children can find along the way. This makes it an adventure they are eager to participate in. Before they know it they are met with a great summit and rest area at the top! Dress warm, bring snacks and enjoy the art and wonderment.
Bensons Park - Hudson
Walking Trails, Sledding, Playground, and Beautiful Scenery all at Benson Park
Located in Hudson, NH, Benson Park is a public space offering an array of outdoor activities.
