This year, the Town of Merrimack will be celebrating its 275th Birthday. In keeping with this theme, the Parks & Recreation Department has chosen to pick classic movies from the last 60 years that are also celebrating milestone birthdays in 2021.
In this first round of voting, we have chosen 32 movies and will put them in a head to head competition. Your votes in the survey below will determine which movies will move on to the Sweet 16 Round.
Round 1 will open on March 1st and remain open until March 7th.
The Sweet 16 Round will open on March 8th and remain open until March 14.
The Elite 8 Round will run from March 15th thru March 21st
Our Final 4 Winners will be announced on March 29th.
The movies with the highest votes will be the 4 movies in the park that are shown during the Summer 2021. The brackets work out so that we will have 1 kid friendly and 1 Teen/Adult Movie Classic from within the past 20 years and then we will have 1 kid friendly and 1 teen/adult movie classic that is more than 25 years old.
