Ways To Celebrate Read Across America Day!

Celebrate Dr. Suess' Birthday March 2nd

Did you know that Dr. Suess went to school right here in NH? Dr. Suess attended Dartmouth as Theodore Suess Giesel class of 1925. He started using the pen name Suess after getting in trouble and being banned from the school newspaper "The Jack-o-lantern". 

Dr. Suess has written many amazing books that have helped children all over the world learn to read. Read Across America Day is a nationally recognized holiday on his birthday, March 2nd. There are tons of fun ways to Celebrate this educational holiday. Happy Birthday Dr. Suess! 

1. Have a Dr. Suess Party! Head down to your local dollar tree and grab some fun decorations. Enjoy some One Fish Two Fish Goldfish, make this Cat and the Hat hat craft, play find the Sneetches!  

3. Head over to Barnes and Nobles for BOGO 50% off Dr. Suess Books! If you're like me and already have almost all of the Dr. Suess books they're having the same sale on lots of other children's books as well!
